After a great date night, I was thinking nothing could happen for the rest of the weekend, and I would still consider it a success. However, things got even better when Saturday morning rolled around...
While between contracts, it can be a little easy to lose track of which day it is. It’s a unique luxury that I get to have right now, and I’m very grateful for it. With that in mind...
I write this on Thursday, September 29. Friday, September 2 was my (Bill) last day working in Connecticut. It has been four weeks since I left! I find that mind-boggling.
These past two weeks I have engaged in all of these types of travel in some way and what I love is that I haven't lost sight of the most beautiful of them. When something becomes mundane it looses it's shimmer, and sometimes that's "travel" for me... especially air travel, given my job. However,....
Adventure is always waiting for you if you're just willing to let go of the idea of what it should be and focus more on what it CAN be!
While reflecting on bright colors and trail blazes, I ended up thinking about what we’re doing at A Playful Place - or rather what the intentions are: to add a little playful energy...

Whether you're in the City or the Country, you can always appreciate that which is real and true .... and remember that "home" is wherever your truest self can be found!
It's officially marked. The first post! It could be ended or removed going forward, but have it be known: June 22, 2016 the first post to Our Playful Place has been done. After months (years?) of planning and thinking, action is beginning. As they say, the toughest part is beginning.
And now it's a team effort. Justin and I have got each other's back paired with shared energy and playfulness to keep things up and running. We are quite the dynamic duo, and I anticipate having a team that is both interested is going to make keeping things interesting that much easier. Besides the fact we're just happy men, we're ready to share our playfulness.
